I've just seen a car parked with the reg S1. The car was a whacking Merc which is to be expected, I suppose. I'm left wondering what somebody with all that £££ was doing parked outside B&Q on over 60's discount day

U1 used to belong to Leeds City Council. Perhaps it still does unless they've sold it to reduce the poll tax. Anybody know who S1 belongs to? It couldn't be somebody we know, could it?

The dealer that bought it said that it would 'remain in the UK' - of course it would, where else could it be used?

No hair shirt needed,someone who spends that kind of money on a reg plate needs therapy IMO.If I had it I certainly wouldn't spend it on such a stupidly outward expression of my wealth.

My guess is it belongs to a Simon. Do we know anyone called "Si" ?

I used to see "S5" on the way to school. Obviously an inferior, downmarket number. It was on a Mini Clubman or similar model.

I saw a limosene once around Mayfair with no registration plates, I assume it was something belonging to the royal household? It did look odd though with no plates.

Must be a fair amount of Royalty near me considering the number of motorbikes and quads flying around with no number plates.

Never trust a Merc. A car with a crosshair at the front is clearly cruising looking for trouble.
