Malaga airport - bikes on train or bus to malaga?

having googled & it looks like the trains don't take bikes but the buses might ?

anyone know/got bikes on recently ? any advice. we'll have two bikes and panniers.

(otherwise I'm presume we'll be cycling along the N340 into town trying to get punctures or run-down)

Hi, I took a bagged bike out last september, walked out of the airport straight onto the city bus with it, then loaded it into the ALSA bus which took me east along the coast to near my destination. No charge, though at busy summer periods or maybe school breaks, two bikes on the city bus may be a problem.
