Upright Bars - Nitto

Anyone know where/how to get some bars like the Nitto Albatross (http://www.rivbike.com/webalog/handlebars_stems_tape/) in the UK? I'm after bars which are 7/8" in diameter, so as they accommodate V-brake levers and MTB thumb shifters.

Thanks in advance!

Stockists of a number of Nitto products - they may be able to help?

Thanks! Neither could help me though....

I'm amazed it's so hard to find some; these are like the most basic sort of bars there are!

Slightly different style, but would these work for you?

Cheers! Actually, I've already got some like that, and I find that after about 2 hours on the saddle my arms and wrists are starting to ache a bit. I know that I can cycle for hours with my hands in a drop-bar position, so I'm looking for something more like that. I don't want to change to drops though because I don't have the cash to convert my whole bike - stem, brakes etc to fit - so I'm after something like the Albatross. I do appreciate all the thoughts though; keep them coming...

Nitto Moustache bars? Even flipped over if necessary?

Those are 15/16", for road levers, not MTB, which are 7/8" apparantly. Or d'u reckon I could squeeze some MTB V-Brake levers on to 15/16"??

Have you thought of approaching Rivendell?
The overseas link on their checkout pages isnt working properly, but the fact that its there at all suggests that an e mail might produce a result.

Cash in on the exchange rate while it lasts!
