advice on cycle mirrors please
hello,i ride drop handlebars with suntour barcons(remember them?).Any recomendations for cycle mirrors capable of being mounted on l.side of bars for continental use. What happened to the brake lever mounted 'mirrycle'? cheers
The miiricle is alive and well.http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/p.php?make=mirrycle
The model shown will fit inside the bar openings and can be fitted to both right and left side. It remains the best mirror around.

I've used this one for a while, easy to take on(either side of handle bar) and off thought can be a little uncomfortable as it sits on the handle bar, the zefal spy mirrors are small, light and easy to stick anywhere on your bike, forks, frame, either handlebar and in your pocket!

I've tried the zefal mirror but found they break off to easily,I've found the Cateye "racing" one ideal
One could fit one of these mirrors a bike with barend levers by cutting a short piece of old bar say 60mm long fitting the mirror to that, then fixing that assembly to to the underside of the drops with with tiewraps/zipties.
Hope that makes sense,it wouldn't be a costly experiment at £5.99 a pop.
