Hullo, I'm more than happy with the B17 Special I've just recently acquired.I now have the taste for leather(like a few MP's I could mention).Has anyone bought Brooks leather bar tape before, and what do/did you think of it?I'm thinkin' of investin' see.
If it's anything like their saddles then I'll be buying some.
Any thoughts most helpful,thank you.

Don't bother with it cork tape (Cinelli or Raleigh) is best, much more weather ressistant, you can get it in brown leather colour if you really must.Black doesn't show the dirt and always looks smart

Continuing in the tone of MPs it could depend on where your taste for leather extends and the intended purpose of the tape..

I've tried the leather tape and binned it promptly. It had no shock-absorbing properties at all (which in to be expected I suppose) and was uncomfortable for this reason. I think it sells on nostalgia alone and the gel tape now on sale beats it hollow for comfort.
