I'm off to Iceland on 1st June planing on useing camp sites and wild camping.
Any does and don't about wild camping in Iceland ?

And any advice / general rules to follow to keep save when wild camping worldwide ?

I've not much to say about true wild camping, but some of the smaller villages have basic campsites where you can stay for free.
