And if you had bought Bluemels guards from another firm would you not have had the same problems? Why is this Wiggle's fault? Aren't all mudguards time consuming to fit?

I've spent £1200 with wiggle since 2011.

No problems yet, even the returns system is spot on and gets refunded straight away.

Even the post is super quick, i opt for free delivery and it sometimes beats paying for the £3.99 "faster delivery", i only get Next Day if i need it super quick.

I do have a minor niggle, about the fact that the website always auto-checks the premium delivery option by default, and you have to be aware and uncheck the box, to go for the free delivery, before completing your order. I've been caught out - once. But there's an answer to that: be alert*...

I used to buy everything from Evans, but after their taking 2 weeks to send me a stem which was supposed to arrive in 2 - 4 days I've been trying Wiggle.

So far I've only ordered with next day delivery, which I like because every time it's arrived before 10.30am, whereas with Evans on next day it often wouldn't arrive until late afternoon.

That is, of course, a very valid point, and if we shop at our LBSs we can inspect the goods before we buy. The weakness with Wiggle is that you can't talk to them to find out about a product before you buy. Pictures on a web-site usually don't give the full picture.

Actually, bigjim's description is just a description of mudguards - we always have to 'fit' them to our bikes. Cutting the stays to length and shaping around the mudguard/chain-stays interface is just normal - as is opening out at the holes to the brake pivots to accommodate the allen-key brake fittings.

This really isn't meant to get at anyone - don't misunderstand this - but I don't think that overall we do ourselves any favours by always going for the cheapest. If internet shopping is our only option, Spa will talk over the telephone - but with things like mudguards, you've to have fitted some already to know the questions you need to ask.

Give me my LBS anytime.

I still tend to use Wiggle for most stuff. However, I have noticed that they are now sending out an email saying your item has been dispatched but it has not. If you read further down the email it tells you that it will be picked up by the deliverer with 24 hours. So, in fact, what they have done is put it in their dispatch bay. My last few orders from Wiggle have all taken several days to arrive whereas I used to be able to rely on next day or the day after. It's the usual case of customer service going in the wrong direction.

Another firm may have supplied the mudflaps!
That's a really old post of mine that has been dragged up.
I complained that the order had not been fulfilled as the mudflaps were not supplied as per description. I also mentioned that there is, IMO, a design fault and should be flagged up to Bluemells. Wiggle are the retailer and responsible for the product. It is up to them to take customer satisfaction issues up with their supplier.
If it was my company I would want to know if there was a problem with product or service.
I'm no stranger to fitting mudguards by the way.
Deleting feedback because it does not suit Wiggle does not give me confidence in dealing with them and makes me unsure about the validity of existing feedback if it is filtered in favour of themselves.
I'm also a regular customer of both my LBS's, so that comment does not, in my case, concern me.
