Help
I use to have a pair of front racks that my altura panniers fitted to with ease and with no problems. Each rack had the usual fixing to the forks one on the inner of the fork and one at the outer both at the eyelets halfway up the fork. These two bars ran paralel to each other with a 1/2 inch gap before joining together at the end. Through my own stupidity i broke one.
I ordered a new pair and used them for the first time . The two bars just angle into each other. After moving the fixings as close together as i can i managed to get my panniers on the rack using a bit of force. This seems to be putting pressure on the welds on the rack. It is also forcing the fixings on the panniers back against my forks and taking the paint off.
I have looked all over for a pair of the original racks and can not find any, Anyone out there help me.

:D Have the courage to live your dreams :?

SJSC make a low rider rack with parallel top bars like that.

Tubus make a variety of low rider racks, most have a single top bar, at least one has the parallel top bars.

I suspect either brand would work for you.
