Thanks to many recommendations on the forum, I've decided to fit Kool Stop Salmons to my Oryx cantis.

Only thing is, I'm struggling to find the right components - due more to ignorance than lack of options, I suspect. I've looked on Wiggle and Spa, to no avail.

Can anyone recommend the components I need? I imagine I need to fit new blocks to take the cartridge inserts? But tbh am a bit lost!

I have Tektro Oryx brakes and bought these Kool Stop salmon inserts from Wiggle (after buying the wrong Swisstop pads).


I didn't need to buy any other components - I simply took out the retaining pins, slid the old pads out then inserted the Kool Stops.

I've found them to be OK, but they do squeal a lot.

The ones shown above assume that you've got cartridge pads already (which you may not).
