Tremble ye ancients

The words to make you tremble are Polymyalgia Rheumatica or something like that. It only affects those over 50 apparently and women more than men.It is the kind of condition I would certainly wish on my worst enemy if I had one.I can still cycle although one of the early symptoms is that I could not get my leg over the bike saddle. It is allegedly controllable with drugs (steroids). The drugs have side effects which require drugs to control the side effects which have side effects you would not believe which seems to go on ad infinitum. Exhaustion is also a side effect.There is no known cause for this condition but it may be an unconnected viral infection. GP shrugs her shoulders 
. In addition to this my OH has Parkinsons which requires me to have further medication. Unfortunately this does not feature in the nhs list and I have to buy my own whisky which after years in the industry comes very hard.There is bound to be a latin tag which at the moment escapes me but I suppose I should get out on my bike a bit more if the rain would only stop. (apologies to bits of England)
