Online Service is lousy. A 10 quid set of bar tape still hasn't arrived 10 days after placing the order. Dismissive staff in the shop about how and why is wasn't sent. Sounded like calling the other shop was something he could fit in 'since the shop was quiet' Promises in the terms and condition about contacting you re stock levels never occurred. Emails have gone unanswered. Won't be using them again. How do some people think they can run a business? No wonder some are going to the wall.

I have to confess that my last experience of Fred Baker Cycles was some years ago but when we asked to see a bike that was way out of reach and needed bringing down onto the shop floor, the guy asked if we were seriously considering buying it or not as it would be a lot of hassle to get down. We said that in that case we weren't, went down the road to Palmers and bought a bike there. Plenty of bike shops in Bristol so avoiding this one has not been difficult.
