Can someone clean this mess up!!!

As per title, this whole sub section has turned into bedlam.

Perhaps a little patience might be in order?

What mess? Everything looks fine to me. Although rather than complaining I think we all ought to thank Andrew S for all of his hard work here.

Seems to me this sub-section is doing what it should be doing.

Cycle camping is a very broad church and attracts different people doing their own thing in different ways. Everyone cycle camping has made mistakes with their bike, kit or routes and I know I have. We can all learn something from each other.

I've been cycle camping for some years and I've picked up some useful information from the forum.

Long may the mess continue!

Si the mess I mention was when you came on the sub section there were at least 10 duplicating threads for campsite reviews and it was a mess. However as Andrew rightly pointed out patience was required until one set of threads was replaced by his new thread ( which I didn't know was going to happen ) so that's when I made the post about the mess, so it might appear now that I was posting about the current layout, I wasn't. Full apoligies to Andrew for my post in haste and many thanks for his and anyone else's endeavours.

I think the problem with this sub-forum is it well hidden - at least it was to me. I have been using the main forum for a year or so now and only very recently discovered the cycle-touring sub-forum. I know it is listed on the page but it is not obvious, being above the list of threads in the main touring section. Others have the same problem I had I think as many of the topics in the main touring section should probably have been posted here. Which leads to the question: Is the sub-forum really necessary?
