Can anyone tell be the procedure with Rosebikes in Germany please. Do their prices include VAT and is there import duty on top of the goods price?
Cheers barbelfisher

No import duty to pay, this is the EEC!!!
I have paid both British VAT or The German equivalent (but not both on the same order) depending on how I ordered. This is all included in the price that you see on the website, so no need to worry about it.
Postage and currency conversion charges
do come on top of the prices you see for the components.
I reckon on about 3% for the conversion but with a possible min charge if you use a debit/credit card.
I even paid conversion charges on the bill when I ordered on the Sterling website as it flips into Euros just before you pay.

Their prices are in pounds and I,ve only ever paid in pounds. They do have a .co.uk website.
The carriage charges are listed on the site.
I have found the service to be excellent.

I've used Rose lots, and it is only when I tried to pay with Paypal that it jumped to the German paypal site (and hence a euro price and conversion by paypal) I looked up the difference on the euro conversion and it was only literally pennies difference. When I've used a credit card or debit card it stays in GBP but I've not actually checked what they convert the euro site pricing to sterling at - can't be much penalty.
I've had all sorts of stuff and often even one item plus delivery (£5 ish) is still way cheaper than CRC/Wiggle/Parkers - order Monday and delivered by Friday!
Dynohub wheelsets look to be real bargains, as do chainsets and front and rear changers, and and and and ....
