Shimano tourney brakes long drop fitting

Post by QUIST »

I'd be very grateful if anyone knows how to fit this -I've been given apair of long frop Tourney brakes on one side is the nut/bolt with hole.

On the other is a strut of metal which has as a part of it ,the bit what usually pulls the cable up ( the bridge?) and so the pads to the rim. The equivalent bit on these brakes is part of the strut, does the wire pass through the nut/bolt and then through the bridge which pulls the cable up?

I've never seen brakes like it , any hints would be greatly appreciated,
- sorry I've explained it so badly
