Which should I buy?

Avior £65, Banshee £88

Avior 3kg, Banshee 2.6kg (not much difference?)

Quality?

Thanks guys. I've never cycled and camped. Only stopped in hostels / B&Bs / Travelodges when touring. Things are about to change!

I have an Avior X3 it has front and side entrances, its huge, it is very well made and resists downpours. You can pitch it in minutes with the inner in place, so no mucking about. It withstands high winds well and doesnt seem to suffer from condensation because it has vents at each end. I use the side entrance mostly, there is a huge space in the end entrance for your kit which is all easily accessible from the sleeping compartment keeping it out of the way. In wet weather you need to use the end entrance to avoid getting the sleeping compartment wet but there is so much room that you wont have to climb over your kit. I rejected the Vango tents because they are high in the middle and low at the ends. This is like sleeping in a coffin and I like the generous height at one end which you have in the Avior. If you read the Amazon Reviews it gives you a good sense of what it is.

Hi. I've had a Banshee 300 for a couple of years and been out on Dartmoor many times in it. It's spacious (the 200 is indeed too coffin-like), well made, has two entrances, good ventilation, sheds wind and water well due to shape and is pitch outer first or all in one which is a big help in the rain. I would recommend it without hesitation. It has a good following in Bushcraft circles too which is usually a good sign.

I am also looking to purchase a 3 man tent and the vango banshee and tempest 300s were on the list.

I am interested in the opinions above, but would be grateful if you could let me know where you got those prices
