I am trying to find UK public information films about cycling. The only one I have found is from 1978 here aimed at cyclists not drivers http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/film ... _pedal.htm

The 'Think Once, Think twice, Think Bike' films about motorbikes are far more enduring and memorable:

Are there any bicycle versions? Is that 1978 'Dark means danger' the only film?
This is part of my dissertation by the way but thought it was interesting to see how there is no emphasis on cycling in the three think bike videos i posted; they could easily include it

There was also an animated one from around the same time with an old, bearded man pedalling sedately — I think it was aimed at motorists and was about how to pass cyclists safely. Can't find it, though...

Thanks - I remember this one having been reminded of it. He should have looked over his shoulder again. It is an info film for cyclists though, not for motorists
