Riser bars

Post by Si »

I'm looking for some MTB style riser bars but having trouble finding what I need.

Ideally they will have something like a three inch rise and no brace, take MTB brake levers, fit a normal road/MTB stem, and will be cheap.

SJS do almost what I want: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/thorn-mk2-co ... prod12228/ but they are a tad more than I wanted to pay.

I also found some BMX style ones at the right price (£15) but the cross brace means the controls are too far out and the middle is too small for a normal MTB stem clamp.

It's fora folding bike so I can't change to a higher rise stem.

Anyone know of any on line stores offering such a thing?

how about Club Roost Gofast DH riser bar;

no sure if they are still available new or not. They also did a similar model with a brace that could be unbolted (I'm assuming you are not DHing on your folding bike.... :shock: )

cheers

How about this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=15830 it has 65mm of rise, not sure if that's quite enough for you (FWIW I have one of these on my Brompton M type).
