My lightweight set up consits of:
Western Mountaineering Summerlite Bag - Great bag but a bit pricey
Downmat 7 UL mat - very comfotable and worth the wee bit extra weight
Snow Peak Mini Solo cookset with Snow Peak Gigapower stove - very light and compact and able to brew up/cook noodles and cous cous
You can easily fit all this and a TN Laser into a Carradice Camper Long flap and this can be attached to a Brompton using an SQR uplift - very light weight set up.

Oh yes - that's always the best bit of all my trips!!
It is in this weather.
I am now planning a Youth Hostel trip after last weekend.

I like this idea and assume you use an 'X Plorer kit bag', MLJ. Could I ask how you 'anchor' the bottom of the dry bag to the Brompton rear rack?
