Hi there all users, new to this but have agreed to accompany a work colleague on a charity ride leaving next year in September from Fife Scotland to Milan in Italy. We are now trying to plan a route through various countries in Europe, would be greatful for any advice and info on ideal cycling roads , paths and routes or where we can find out about the likes. Obviously aiming to avoid main roads and congested busy routes and major cities, as I say any info will be appreciated.

When in Sept? The later you leave it the higher the chances of severe weather crossing the Alps at any sort of altitude.
