My 30 mile ride on Saturday included:
Giant's Causeway (world heritage site)
Old Bushmills Distillery (oldest licensed distillery in the world) didn't stop
Display by the Red Arrows at end in Portrush
So thats one world famous item every 10 miles.
Beat that.....

Only the desperate or dim would ridethere in preferance to the countryside. Please keep all your celebs and the rest where they belong, we do not want them to contaminate the rest of this green and pleasant land.

We don't have 'shires' in Northern Ireland. You must be thinking of somewhere in GB

This Sunday is the most seriously excellent London Sightseer 100k audax (I am nothing to do with the organisation!). Kew steam museum, up through the Royal Parks and the Albert Hall and memorial, Diana memorial etc. On to Trafalgar square and Bukingham Palace, Admiralty Arch. Down past St. Pauls and the Gherkin through Canary Wharf via Tower Bridge. Through the Greenwich foot tunnel to the Greenwich Observatory, then round the O2 (wonder if you can see the Olympic Park from there?). Back down the South Bank past the HMS Belfast, crossing the Thames Bridges to Westminster. Through Richmond Park down to Hampton Court to nearly home. Think that will take some topping in the UK, and I've missed out a whole bunch like the London eye (or have I just included it

)

I parked the car at the edge of London and rode my bike about 5 miles to Wembley stadium.
There I saw the famous Manchester City win the cup last year.
Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov, de Jong, Barry, Toure (YY), Silva, Balotelli, Tevez and subs Zabaleta, Johnson and Viera.
I saw the cup too.
Then I rode back to my car.
That's 15 famous sights on one ride.

As a lifelong City fan I declare this is the winner and this thread is now closed to all other entries

I cycled around New York city a few times whilst on a visit in 1986. Sorry, no photographs.
Empire State Building
World Trade Centre
Central Park
Brooklyn Bridge
Battery Park - where you can see the Statue of Liberty
42nd Street
Times Square
Broadway
