I recently bought a second hand Hase Pino tandem from DTEK HPVs to ride with my son who has lower limb problems and has Aspergers Syndrome. Kevin at DTEK could not have been more helpful in choosing and setting up the Pino, having test rides with my wife and I piloting and my boys as stoker. Once we had selected the modifications we needed Kevin set the Pino up and helped us load it onto our roof carrier.

Roll on two months in which all of the family have enjoyed riding on the PIno I arranged to take it back for its post purchase service needing a new bottom bracket , Rohloff cables and at Kevin's suggestion, spacers on the pedals and extra links in the chain, together with a front disc which had been on order. When the work was completed Kevin delivered it back to us at no extra charge.

As well as this it's such a pleasure to buy things from a genuine enthusiast whose passion for HPVs is carried over in his business . He's also a thoroughly nice chap. We are probably biased and living only 15 miles away it's obviously convenient for us, but I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a Hase tandem

I think Kevin's great too. I visited him twice just to try 'bents - with several years between the two visits. He seemed genuinely surprised when I bought a used Bacchetta Cafe, I think he expected me to ponder longer and maybe visit again. Six months later I realised that although I loved the 'bent it had just become an expensive toy - it wasn't really suitable for the type of riding I was doing so spent most of its life in the garage with just a saturday morning spin to stop it gathering dust. I eventually decided to sell it on ebay and the top bidder was.... Kevin! He gave me an excellent price, he was happy, I was happy and I'd certainly do business with him again. I often find myself thinking I'll buy another 'bent - a trike this time - and there's no doubt who I'll go to.

Having sold to him and very nearly but not quite bought from him I too can vouch for Kevin.
