I forgot to mention that the cyclists go offline fairly often - I guess down to cellphone coverage or WiFi links or some such. When they are offline, their position reverts to the start of the stage (rather than last known position, which I think it would be more appropriate)

First I would like to thank all the volunteers stewards police council employees, all the people who realy organised the Saturday not just Ken.
If the cyclist failed to stop he could have been arrested under the Prevention of Terorism act 2000 section 44 (if you think this wrong look it up). The whole area had the powers authorised under the act. I got a official search standing at the barrier for the course as I had to many bags with me. My wife & son left them with me when they looked around the village. The police action was totaly justified due to the various dangerous groups in the word. I have a personal souvener you can not buy and a great day out.
THANK YOU AGAIN TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT A FANTASTIC DAY
more so to the unpaid giving up their time for our benefit.

That's another one we were within 50 yards of. Hope you enjoyed the "Rather French" urinals across in the park!
