OK, I managed to wangle a basket for my halloween costume and I managed to get rather good one! So I thought with a bungee cord it would be perfect for shopping trips on the rack!



What do you think? Yay or Nay?

I do plan on working out some sort of cover to stop my groceries getting wet or bouncing out!

Will it be more awkward to get on and off?

Me or the basket?

If it's me you're referring to then, I've not actually tried! Yet.

Haha, sorry. I meant more difficult for you to get on and off. I'm fairly inept at getting on and off bikes

Ahh, Like I said not yet tried it but I'm well practiced at swinging my leg over the drop tube in a more ladylike fashion.

With a step-through frame there shouldn't be a problem since you're not swinging your leg over the back

I would add another bungee at 90 degree angle to stop it sliding sideways.

Ahh, the Halloween use of it has been fulfilled for this year at least! I was little red riding hood!

But it would be a shame for it to sit in a storage cupboard doing nothing!
