Thoughts on Mini Peak 2
As anyone used the Mini Peak 2 tent with solo nest? I am considering buying one mainly because of the inside height would be good for sitting in with my Helios chair. I have read most of the reports but would like from forum members who have used one.
There is your way. There is my way. But there is no "the way".

I use the similar(ish) Golite Shangri La 3 with Oooknest. Headroom is great. Vestibule space wonderful (the bike fits in)- not quite so much in the MP2, but still, no doubt pretty good. Downside is that you are reliant on the pegs - in some bits of south of France, for example, it'd be much easier to pitch a freestanding tent, given the poor soil. Even more so in Italy, I hear. Also, the flip side of a large amount of headroom is the large airspace, meaning a colder tent. Mind you, on the flip flip side, there's never a condensation issue in my SL3.
On the whole I like these pyramid tents.
