Looking at the utube bit perpetuates the idea that all parkinson sufferers behave like this.In fact there are a multitude of symptoms all different. My wife does not have the "shakes" but she has instead severe problems with depression. Believe me almost anything else would be preferable.Mental health problems (which parkinsons is really) are not easy to deal with and cannot easily be controlled by chemical means. If anyone knows different or has experience which says different I for one would be desperate to find anything to alleviate the symptoms. One of our local clergymen has had parkinsons for some years but retains his mental faculties and despite a severe case of the "shakes" rides a trike around. I was quite chuffed when a couple of years age I saw a bunch of visiting yobs make fun of him. Some local Youths saw this and threatened them with violent retribution if they did not desist.Threats of violence saw them off. I was quite proud of our local product.

Not all mental health issues can be chemically controlled, many can be greatly alleviated.

No help to you, but mental health isn't incurable any more than physical health is.
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.
