Try contacting a trike recumbent dealer.

ICE sell rear guards for 20" wheels.

See:

Depends how "tidy"

Raleigh do a set of mudguards @ about £6.99 which clip to a bracket on the cosspiece.

Otherwise singles are basically the "Crudguard" or similar

I had the same problem last year, I wanted a fulll length mudguard so that spray wouldn't fly up to anyone following and also so that I could fix a rear light to it, I went to my local bike shop and they got one from these people http://www.missioncycles.co.uk who are in Mereworth, near Maidstone, Kent. Hope this helps.

Can I ask what you paid please?

I need full front & rear 20" for my folder, as I made a rear & adapted a Zefal for the front, which are ok in rain, but going through muddy puddles they're inadequate. I checked ICE's web site - no prices, so emailed. To my amazement, 2 mudguards would cost me 50% of the price I paid a few weeks ago for my brand new bike!

I cannot see how it would be suitable for use on an upright's front wheel without considerable alteration. However I did not examine their site further once I found what I was looking for - a single guard suitable for the rear.

I also e-mailed as the p&p rates seemed somewhat unclear. They confirmed suitability provided that the trailer bike had brazed eyelets. As mine does I went ahead.

It's neat, tidy and very effective, I remain very happy with it.

Thanks for those details. I was quoted £60 front & £42 rear, + postage. So, bearing in mind your comments, I think I'll have to keep looking.
