Discs were tried in the peleton some years ago - one 'innovation' that didn't make it! Now integrated bottle holders.....
Convention? what's that then?

Surely the front wheel is less "lob sided" than a cassette rear wheel? As well built 36 spoke rear wheels work well the more lightly loaded front wheel should be OK.
