Walkman and cyclist

I would be so pleased if we could forward this to
CTC board/committee to list as an urgent
legislative priority.
I know it is out of character for me to worry about people, but something should be done to discourage them, like the copper does in Clapham.
Let's campaign AGAINST walkmen instead of FOR
helmets.

I agree with happiness- as long as all vehicles on the roads with any type of entertainment/distractions-radio, hifi, DVD, playstations, sat nav are removed, screaming children are tethered with duck tape over mouths. Then not only should mobile phones be banned from use but eating, drinking and especially smoking. I use a walkman/MP3 on my bike, but the average motorist has about half a dozen distractions going on without even considering what is going on outside their lard ass inducing transport.

While cyclists are on the same road as
motorists and not separated, they have got to listen
with all ears .When a cyclist has a dedicated road then he can get happy with his walkman.
Until then he is courting tragedy and sadness.
