Transporting 2 bikes (+cyclists) from Cardiff to Germany

Hallo!

We (two cyclists from Germany) will cycle along Lon Las Cymru in June and are looking for a way to get back home from Cardiff or maybe Bristol or anywhere else closeby. A direct flight to Berlin, Leipzig or Hannover would be perfect.

Other ideas we had were taking a ferry from England and then a train, but that takes looong.

As our starting point will be Dublin (ferry to Holyhead), maybe it would also be an idea to go back to Dublin, but we don't know how to (unfortunately not enough time to cycle).

Any ideas/advice welcome. Thank you!!

Easyjet fly Bristol-Berlin for about £45 each, £10 extra for the bike, which has to be in a bag, which you can get from the CTC shop for £4. Either use the bags as camping groundsheets on tour, or have them delivered to your pre-booked, final night's accommodation.

Thanks! We followed your advice and paid about 144 Euros for the two of us including the bikes, but unfortunately believed our travel agency who claimed we didn't have to bag our bikes. Ended up having to wrap them in bin bags and pieces of cardboard boxes, but everyone at the airport was really helpful and it worked out in the end.
