my trip to Angelsey
Only a week to go now and all seemed ok with my training,I recently finished the Heart Foundation 66 miler going from my home town of Wimborne in a circular loop, I carried two half filled panniers on my bike. Cycling time 5.5 hours. I felt pretty good after, and not too much stiffness the next day.During the last week the outside of my knee has got a bit ackey and i thought, here i go again.I still intend to start as planned next sat 18 of May and take it steady to my first Hostel at Cheddar.I cycle a fair bit with a friend of mine, usually i have to stop or slow down so he can keep up,or he answers his mobile. I am sure riding like this creates tention in me,hence some ackes and pains.Does anyone else get problems with there cycle buddies, just a thought.Anyway looking forward to my tour and the people i meet. whats the weather forcast ? Are waterproofs and wellies needed? See you on the Lonlas Trail, Bye T.
