Could the forum members please recommend a decent replacement pad for my Tektro Oryx Canto brakes. This is the first time I have had to replace them and they are running low. I fished out some old canti brake pads but the stub is to wide. I had a quick look on the net, some people say you can use mountain bike v brake pads others say buy cartridge, which leaves me, who is not the most technical wizzkid in the world a bit confused. I have never used cartridges so would not know one make from another.

So if anyone could give me some clear advice on which type to go for which is compatible that would be great.

If your brakes are like these:-
A V brake cartridge pad will fit.

Thank you Reohn 2 that appears to be a very good price. I rang "On Your bike" yesterday and they told me over the phone I would be looking at £30 for a set of replacement pads plus labour if I wanted them to fit them. So I think I will give these a try.
