I have just purchased a CTC poly travel bag AND a lightweight rain cover. The difference = Nowt. So the CTC bag will go back as it was 5 times the price of the rain cover.
May be of some help to someone on here.

where does it live at home?

Mine lives in the kitchen. He wants me to take a second bivvy on tours so he can decent night's kip. I tell him he gets wet in the day, so what's the problem? He says I get wet during the day, but I have the luxury of a sleeping bag and bivvy, so why shouldn't he?

He's got a point, but won't be getting his own bivvy.
