I would be grateful for any advice on suitable carriers for a landrover freelander 2006 (spare tyre on back door). I have a dawes super galaxy plus (1994) and a new Focus Izalco 3. Thanks in anticipation.....

Yo can get cheap but reasonable quality from Halfords. You will need to decide if you want tow ball mounting or one that mounts onto the wheel.
If you go for tow ball there are 2 types ride on, hang on . Are you likely to want to cary more than 1 bike?
