The Lincoln one is good.
Another one has just appeared, a spoof Visit Skegness video made by 50 Sniffs, entitled "Fish Chips and Donkey Ridez" link below:

Well, let's hope all those folk are really welcoming if you go.
Otherwise the shops are the same as every other place.
Oh, I see at the end they've got a cathedral.

I thought that for most of the footage, then I began to ask "Why?" and "What's it for?" and "Who paid for this"?
Then at the end, I saw it was for BBC Children in Need.
I don't object to giving money to charity - far from it! - but why oh why does the BBC have to donate so much of the TV Licence payers' money every single year? I'm glad I don't have a telly or pay the TVL. If I did, I'd complain. As I don't, I won't.

Ten million people watched it last time - that's about twice the number that watch Eastenders.
If the BBC's remit is to produce entertainment then it looks like a win-win to me. High viewing figures and tens of millions for charity. What's not to like?

Nothing not to like I suppose.
I think we've had this discussion before ............
My point is that the BBC do this every single year. Yes, they get big viewing figures, so why not do it more often?
Because it would be overkill of course, so why not do it less often?
Maybe they think that they've got it right, but it leaves me cold ........... or should I say it LEFT me cold.
TBH, Im finding the whole subject boring and my heart sinks every November when the airwaves and adverts are full of it. It's a good job they don't clash with the Poppy Appeal ..... but maybe they though of that.
BTW, my Poppy Appeal stock has been ordered. 1,000s of poppies, stickers, wreaths, collecting boxes, car poppies, crosses, pin badges ..................

I think you've answered your own question, why do we have the poppy appeal ever year?
Because we don't want the people who died or were injured during warfare to be forgotten.
For the same reason we don't want to forget Children in Need, two different charities with the a similar sentiment.
If anything sends me cold it's (so called)charities(CTC(?))who exist to perpetuate themselves, where sometimes less than 50% goes to the cause, the rest to self perpetuation.
We've given to Christian Aid for 30+years by direct debit,we don't get involved actively other than that.
But the reason for choosing CA is because it's a good charity and has always used the the vast majority(used to be 90%+) of it's income for it's donated purpose.

Not quite what I'm saying .......
I have no objection to Children in Need. They can have it twice a year if they want. It's a great charity and does wonderful work. Long may it continue. Ditto the Poppy Appeal.
I object to all the hype and - IMHO overkill - on the whole of the BBC every year.

My point is that it must work because every year they get bumper viewing figures with each year's donations significantly bettering the previous,so it works!
BTW I make a point of never watching it myself as I find the cringe factor unbearable ,but I also recognise that, that's just my foible.

For someone who never watches it I can't believe how much exposure Mick seems to be having to all the stuff that's "on it".

I did say the whole of the BBC.
It's only been two years since we packed up with the telly but we still listen to BBC radio.
Personally, I'd be happy if I never listened to R1, and now that The Awful Chris Evans is on R2 followed by The Awful Ken Bruce and The Awful Germ Vine, I don't listen to R2.
Maybe I'm just being grumpy.
