Square sleeping bag, which is 3 season, not too bulky and ca

Hi, I am new to using this forum.

My partner and I are wanting to go back packing and touring, so we need light weight gear. We have sold our ninja turtle pop up tent, and have an old Bull Frog, which should be fine for now. We also sold our Mummy sleeping bags as they are not to our liking. I sleep in stork position and find the mummy way too narrow. Any advice on a square bag, which is 3 season and I can also zip up with my lady's Left/Right zips. The best I can find so far is the Snugpak square light : http://www.snugpak.com/outdoor/sleeper-lite-square, has anyone found better?

I have asthma, so unfortunately cannot use down. Also nearly dropped my ipad when I saw the price!

Vango also do square bags, ebay would be good place to start.
Search vango square.

I am also looking into this at the moment. Vango seem to be good for Square Bags but they are very bulky when packed down.

Snugpak that you mention seem to pack down a lot better, I had looked at the Navigator. But I am unsure of the comfort temperature ratings of the Snugpaks.

Synthetic bags Mummy type -

up to 850 grams with bag 1 - 2 seasons
up to 1200 grams with bag 2 - 3 seasons
up to 1600 grams with bag 3 - 4 seasons
1600 - 2000 grams most uk weather.
Must use a matt.

Square bags brcause they use more material but no thicker at critical spots are heavier so add one season.

Thats my take on bags in general.
A open quilt would have to be at least twice the weight maybee three times because of drafts and shared bag will be drafty too.

Thanks for the advice.

With two bags, we will have the choice to zip them together or not. Yes makes sense about more air getting in, but my lady is like a little stove and generates a lot of heat, so hope she over compensates for the cold air gap
