Hi Pressure Mini-pump

Hi All
I'm looking for a high-quality mini-pump that will do pressures up to 120psi. It must have a gauge. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks

Lezyne.
Excellent, beautifully made, and very easy to use.
Only a foot long, very light, long connection tube.

You'll be hard put to find a 'mini pump' that can get up that high. I've got a Topeak mini morph which can get up to about 100 with a bit of effort.
Chances of getting one that goes that high AND has a pressure gauge would be pretty slim but if you find one i'll be interested to see it... and more importantly, what sort of extortionate price it costs(I'm not even sure i've seen mini pumps with gauges on)!
In all fairness, 120 psi really shouldn't be needed as a pump capable of 100 psi will get the tyres up enough for you to get wherever you need to go until you can get home and get to a proper floor pump.

Quicker Pro. I swear by mine, as opposed to swearing
at every mini pump I've previously owned. The only thing against it is that the rubbery mount is rubbishy.

The Lezyne does 120psi quite easily, I can assure you.
There's a flip-out foot rest and it has a rubber bottom. I use one hand for most of the pumping, but double-handed for the higher pressure. It's SO easy to use and a delight too.

This will be of no help to you at all - but as you're talking about pumps......
I was wandering around Morecambe Market today (don't ask!) and came across one of those stalls that sells cheap tools. You know, the ones where the Allen Keys bend and the screwdriver heads melt. There were two mini-pumps on display - both less than £5. One was short but quite fat and came with adaptors to fit every possible inflatable

The other was really mini - I mean it was not much bigger than one of my wife's lipsticks and it weighed nothing. I paused for a moment, hand on wallet, then moved on.

Not really what I would call a mini pump, though.

That's what I was wondering. Is the Lezyne truly portable?
Thanks

I think you have to accept that to get a pressure like 120 psi easily by pumping (as opposed to compressed gas) you need something of the floor pump type. Part of the reason is that without a flexible hose, there's a good risk of eventually dislodging the valve with all the movement of the pump. Another is the valve between the pump and the hose which means you are able to get a higher pressure into the tyre valve in turn. That Lezyne, and the Topeak Morphe range use the floor pump system but reduce it to a much more compact size. I'd say there's a limit to how small you can go and still have something that works, especially if you want a gauge as well.
As MickF says, it's only a foot long and the product info suggests it's under 1/2 lb in weight.
I'd say, not worth taking on a day ride as a get-you-home, but if you are touring and want to keep your tyres up to high pressure, rather than just "that feels hard" then this is the one.

I find the best solution is to persuade one of your regular riding companions that he really needs to buy a pump like the Lezyne and carry it with him on group rides.

+1 for the Lezyne, though we have the basic one without the gauge & pressure release. Madame actually puts it in her ortlieb handlebar bag, so you can be sure it's small. I use it like a concertina to pump fast/volume, and put it on the ground to use as designed for pressure. Highly rate it's big brother full sized track pump too, but then the reviews usually do likewise, so nothing new there.

It's dead light and comes with a clip that goes on the bottle cage mounts - but to one side, so you can still use your bottle cage and bottle.

How do you find that nozzle? I bought a similar one for my Lezyne track pump: it pops off the valve all the time so I went back to the original (irritating, time-wasting, tube-fatiguing) screw original.
But one of those would be a nice carry for long rides.
