I think I know what he means.
We've cycled thru' Glastonbury on quite a few occasions and usually call in the nice and twee "Olde Worlde Tearoom".
Last time but one, we ate sandwiches on one of the benches in the main street and took in lots of incredible sights, seemingly from the 60's and 70's man. and reminding me of what I seemed to miss out on back then.

I felt it safer for my sanity and health to revisit the twee cafe again on our last visit.

Fausto got it :)
It’s like walking into my life in the 60s 70s. Clothes we would have loved to be able to buy back then. No longer applicable to pensioners. Food shops stocking all the items we searched in vain to find back in the Cranks and knit your own yoghurt era.
40+ years on I still make bread and still make yoghurt so everything in Glastonbury was just a dream and we’ve lived quite well without it. For many happy years we had "new age" travellers alternative lifestyle neighbours, travelled up from the Rainbow tribe from "the valley" in Wales. A visit to Glastonbury confirms a lot have survived.

I now have a bit of a tan, but I've got a bit of a tan anyway from last year, that's what comes from living On the south coast of England.

Eaten or drunk in a MacDonalds.

Hi,
Up post probably, never drunk coffee from a coffee shop (costa etc) but visited twice now, tea and no tea bag :( and at Tesco (costa) and they don't call it milk shake thingummy.

Expensive though, we can afford a little luxury now and again, but don't eat out if at all. With exception of my little cycle tour down south.
