It's not a downloadable guide, but http://www.eurocampings.co.uk is pretty comprehensive and authoritative. They do a printed guide as well - so there's a definite possibility that there's an eBook version as well. There's nothing to stop you downloading and saving the pages for likely-looking sites along the route.

Alan Rogers also does an app with its campsite guide. I assume it's also available on Android as well as iOS. And again, their printed guide may be available as an eBook.

Oh, and I think this should have gone in the sub-forum on cycle camping.

Thanks Andy , I'd looked already at these and couldn't find ebook version . I also didn't want the drudgery of scan / photo loads of pages from a hard copy.

Shame about eBook versions. You'd have thought they would have produced them.

I'm not a PC user but I'm assuming that a browser like Chrome will let you save webpages in the .webarchive format. Alternatively you could 'print' the webpages to PDF files.

EDIT: there's something called PageArchiver that let's you save webpages for offline viewing.

Oh and the other thing you can do is send campsite webpages to Instapaper - and then download the collected pages as an EBook. Doesn't always work but it's worth a shot if the aim is to have the info on a Kindle or ePub eReader
