I've been running the Pomp with a 37mm Randonneur Pro on the front and a 32mm Randonneur Cross Pro on the rear, both with P45 Chromoplastics. I've tried fitting a 37mm Pro on the rear but I wouldn't have got the full range of the track-end so fitted the 32mm Cross Pro back on. I suspect the 37mm would have been fine without the mudguard.

Just enough for the mud and leaves to pass under the brake bridge! Won't be using mudguards on this build.

Stick a flint catcher at the bottom of the mudguard to shed the muck before it gets up and under.

I realised a couple of days back that a freind of mine has a Genesis MTB with an Alfine hub and disc brakes, rear facing drop-outs/track ends, so I gave it a good looking at. And actually, not that fussy and problematic at all. He hasn't needed to move the caliper at all, but ofcourse a freewheel chain doesn't stretch has much as the fixed chains I mainly use.
