I was wondering about Panniers, with Top Straps, rather than hooks or clips.

I have recently bought a bike in the Evans sale'. This bike is a continental Trekking style cycle. It has a very unusual rear Rack design which does not use a tubular construction; but a strong moulded angular sectioned top… It will not take panniers with hooks or clips..

I bought this cycle, mainly for day riding (a Top Bag fits fine), but I would like the flexibility of using side panniers should I get a break from small children!

Is is Possible to buy Old Style Panniers, with Top Straps any more? This would be preferable to me as this carrier has some style to it...
