Ah I remember the Christmas chocolates MrsE brought home from school. She does not really like chocolate so it was up to me to take up the slack. 8) :D

Si to sole your problem just take a box of chocolates and eat them all the way to the take away.

Modern day Christmas in one sentance:

One of the many gripes (part of the reason I took early retirement) which I had against my former employers, was the compulsory three (in some years four) days annual leave without the option, which we all had to take. My plea that I was perfectly willing to go in during the Xmas break, fell of deaf ears (or rather, "elf 'n' safety" know-all ears). The rigmarole was made worse by the fact that Xmas day falls on a different day of the week each year. Why can't it at the very least be fixed on, say, the last Sunday in December, similar to Easter? I suppose the god squad would be up in arms about that. Remind them please that "25th December" is a complete fiction, dreamt up by some bishops in the 4th century...

Sorry - today is, not unusual for me, a 'bad mood' day....
