i have just bought a really nice Dahon Speed TR with lots of accessories too. I want to use if for touring the UK so I can fold and put on and off the trains. I just wondered who has one of these bikes? And would like to hear of their experiences please.

I did a two week moving on tour on a Dahon Speed TR in Sardinia a few years ago, using full panniers. It performed well except I found the brakes a little weak on the long descents. It certainly climbed OK, and the folding aspect was very convenient. It was perhaps a little flimsy for me as I am on the large side, but three others in our group used various Dahons and they had no complaints.
