Adjusting gears advice

I've just changed to a new freewheel after the old one broke and even though the new freewheel is pretty much identical some of the gears aren't quite right with the transition up and down. The gears which work fine with no problem are 1, 5, 6, 7 leaving 2, 3 and 4. I have never tweaked gears before so thought best to seek advice I know its the screws you adjust, but which screw would adjust those 3 gears?

the barrel adjuster on the cable should be used to adjust the rear mech so that it lines up exactly (on the correct 'click' too) for the second smallest cog; if you try this you should find matters improved somewhat.
