Recommend SS rear wheel.

Post by 3spd »

Having used an old 8spd year wheel with a single cog and spacers from old cassettes for years, I now fancy a "proper" SS rear wheel.
So can anyone recommend a rear wheel with good seals and preferably flip flop that takes 2 freewheels for less than £100.
My worse day on my bike is better than my best day at work!

it might help if you say what OLN you are after.

BTW this hub is a good place to start a nice wheel build;

the axle is long enough that it can be respaced to suit a different width.

cheers

In my lbs I told him the width and he just pulled a hub off his shelf which I had built into a rim - simple! Three years later and still working fine.

120 is the common standard for "track" hubs....these are sold with various branding.......http://www.spacycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m2b0s171p1132
