LMAO... I wonder how many times they wondered why the rear brakes didn't seem to work?
So, when you say 'rescued' does this mean the bike is now yours and you've fixed the problem by replacing the over sized front wheel with one to match the rear wheel

Hang on, is the rear brake cable wrapped round the seat as well?
I wouldn't mind rescuing and rebuilding a bike like this but have no idea where to find them?

Re: My latest rescued abuse victim
when I were a lad..... I 'ad me a raleigh chopper type thing, called a tracker. One day in a fit of absolute boredom , I removed the 'ape hanger' bars and fitted another stem with straight flatish bars. Looked similar to the bike in the OP but back to front. It handled like an absolute pig, and I also fitted a conventional saddle. Well it was the early 70's and I felt cool. another thing , I had one of those large transistor radios, that could pick up police frequencies , and I rode around the woods with it on full blast, was fun till the local OIKS started to hurls large inanimate objects at me. Oh well, good job I'm all grown up now
