I see this was the Greater Manchester Police (GMP.)
I take your post to mean this was not your first complaint. Although I think your point about the value of video evidence is a good one, not everybody seems to get much police interest even when they have it. Obviously, there will be some cases where the evidence simply isn't good enough, but there still seem to be plenty where video evidence isn't examined by the police.
I'd be interested to hear about your other experience with these reports and if you have any tips for others hoping to make a successful report to the police.

I think it's always worth reporting, even if there isn't what you regard as a direct or satisfactory response. If someone else then reports a similar incident or event for the same person/vehicle etc, then this adds to your report.
