Update: just checked my MT20s and found they are 42s so a Shimano 42 which is supposed to = UK size 7.5 is just slightly smaller than an Exustar 41 = UK size 7 :?

I take size 7 in quality shoes like Clarks but often have to go for a 42 in cheap trainers etc. due to lack of length in the alleged size 41.

Strangely I've never found a pair of Shimanos that fit me, even in a 48 (admittedly a small sample size, I generally go into my LBS, try everything that might be in my size range and then buy the one pair that actually fit)

my gran - long gone - would say you'll have to wear the boxes they come in. Of course she was aiming it at me, size 11.

seems like Planet X realised they made a mistake in pricing down the shoes, now the remaining 2 gone back up to £67

I've now had my shoes about 6 months and they have had a lot of use,not only for cycling but also rough track walking as neccesary. In all cases they have done a fine job with minimal wear. Unlike most people here I havent cut out the middle section for spd pedals cleats, I just wanted some thick soled sturdy shoes that could also be walked in on bad terrain.

I was lucky enough to get a pair as well but so far find them uncomfortable in that they rub my heel tender. Does anyone have experience of that and/or a remedy please?

The only problem I had was the left shoe and the toes/sock - just found it very hard to get comfortable kept feeling pinched, was driving me mad, for months then all of a sudden ok. The heel too lose? need to get some heel liners to stop any movement?
