I thought you were supposed to set the barrel midway so that you could make a final very fine adjustment one way or the other - it was for fine tuning while cable adjustment took up the inevitable slack when the pads wore.

Who knows? No-one ever tells you and I guess we all make it up as we go along (well I do anyway :D ). And then you learn something new.

Do you get your round in promptly with no complaints?
