Child's cycling glasses.

Post by sore thumb »

Been out cycling with my 7 year old daughter. She managed to get flys in her eyes twice when out on the ride.

I've got a pair of sunglasses but they are no good when it goes overcast or when cycling under trees.

I have been trying to find some clear cycling glasses for her age but have been unsuccessful so far.

Anyone have any ideas where I can get a pair at a reasonable price?

Thanks

Depending on what you consider a reasonable price there's these although no personal experience.

My 9 year old daughter twisted my arm to buy her some of the cycling glasses in Aldi at the weekend. As well as dark lenses they do orange ones which should be ok for daytime (which were the ones she chose). They're not child-specific, but they fit her ok. The "Special Buy" link for the relevant date is no longer available on the Aldi website, but they may still have stock in the shops. Cost about £4 I think.

Decided to go with the BBB glasses as they have clear and tinted lenses. Will be getting from chain reaction though.

Many thanks all.
