Last year Zweirad Stadler have a new shop in Munich (www.zweirad-stadler.com) It is in Pasing about 2kms west of the main train station. Anybody visiting Bavaria it is well worth a visit. The shops are supermarket size makes a change from the "bikesheds" of the UK.
I have not visited it yet but I visited their out of town shop in Regensberg last year. They had a wide range of bikes from children's to racers with an electric bike section. There was a lot of summer discounts a treking bike reduced from €1299 to €799 . They have a good accessories section anybody fed up with the "cats-ear" and "top-pike" monopoly of the Uk shops will be suprised of the range. There was a large range of tyres. Prices tended to be cheaper with some spares the same in euros as in sterling. The only disappointment was their clothing section .
